Situated on the periphery of Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kyambura Gorge Lodge presents expansive vistas of the vast savannah plains, framed by the Rwenzori Mountains and the ravine of Kyambura Gorge. Because of its beautiful setting, it’s the ideal starting point for exploring the park’s outstanding northern game and tracking the chimpanzees that went missing in the forest reserve of the gorge.
The eight lovely and roomy bandas at Kyambura Gorge Safari Lodge, which is situated between Queen Elizabeth National Park and the Kyambura Gorge, are perched on a hillside and come equipped with private bathrooms. Embracing and friendly, every banda offers a unique perspective of the expansive vistas that span the gorge and verdant savannah of the National Park, extending as far as the Rwenzori Mountains. Servings of food are made in the dining area with the freshest ingredients available in the area. The trailhead for visitors to start their chimpanzee trekking trip is conveniently close to the lodge. The area is explored via guided woodland hikes, game drives in the National Park, and bird watching excursions.
