Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
Drive northwest via the well-known Luwero Triangle today, then take the Ziwa Rhino Project to Masindi. A rhino trekking tour that includes a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Drive into Murchison Falls after lunch.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.
Have a cup of African coffee to start the day. Cross the Nile to the park’s northern bank after you’ve had your coffee. Elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena, and, with any luck, leopards will all be spotted with the assistance of your guide. Head back to the hotel for lunch and breakfast. Take a boat safari upstream on the serene Victoria Nile after lunch, halting only tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron” and arriving at the base of the falls. Admire the crocodiles and toothsome hippos along the way. You may also spot elephants, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and crocodiles throughout this 17-kilometer stretch.
This region is home to a wide variety of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork, hornbill, cormorant, kingfisher, Egyptian geese, Goliath heron, and pelican bee-eater. There, you get off the boat and start the arduous one-hour climb to the top of the falls. Discover the location of the world’s longest river’s abrupt eruption, which occurs through a tiny fissure in the Rift Valley escarpment and plunges into a frothy pool 43 meters below. Your driver or guide will be waiting for you when you get back to the resort.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
All day drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. Fort-Portal rests in the shadow of the fabled Mountains of the Moon.
Accommodation: Kyaninga Lodge, Ndali Lodge, Primate Lodge Kibale, Mountains of the Moon.

Day 4: Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Early morning trek for chimpanzees. Kibale is the best reserve in Africa to view chimps, a thick jungle with a towering canopy. In the afternoon, drive to the south into Queen Elizabeth National Park, sightseeing and game viewing enroute.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.
Start the day off with a cup of coffee. Elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes, and a variety of birds can all be seen during an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile. For breakfast and lunch, head back to the lodge. A two-hour boat ride down the well-known Kazinga Channel after lunch is worthwhile if you want to see animals like warthogs, buffalo, kobs, elephants, and hippopotamuses. Additionally, this trip gives visitors the opportunity to see amazing birds.

Day 6: Return to Kampala – Departure.
Enjoy your breakfast and get ready for a guided chimpanzee/primate walk around Kyambura Gorge to search for habituated chimps. Following the primate walk, go on to Igongo Cultural Village, which is even more rewarding and breathtaking than the Ankole Museum. The Agip Motel Mbarara is where the lunch break is held. After that, proceed to Masaka, making a photo stop at the Equator, and then return to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your flight home.
