Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe International Airport
Our driver/guide will meet you at the Entebbe International Airport and give you an overview of the 5 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari. You will be given a tour of Kampala City, the capital of Uganda, based on when you arrive. The Kabaka’s Palace, the Independence Monument, the Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine, the Gaddafi Mosque, and many other sites are worth seeing in Kampala. After that, you will be driven to the Kampala hotel that has been reserved for your supper and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After eating an early breakfast at the Kampala hotel, you will travel for nine hours to the Buhoma area of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to Uganda’s mountain gorillas. You will stop at the Equator crossing just outside of Kampala to take some pictures and do a brief experiment that establishes the Equator’s presence there. After there, you’ll go on and have lunch at the Agip Motel in Mbarara. After lunch, you will resume your journey to Bwindi, reaching the resort in time for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in the Buhoma Sector of Bwindi.
After a packed lunch and an early morning meal at the Buhoma resort, Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) representatives will take you to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. To make sure you have an unforgettable time in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, they will teach you all the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Guides will be provided to assist you in finding the mountain gorillas. The gorillas’ movements determine how long the gorilla trekking takes. You can spend up to an hour with the gorillas after you find them. Take the most amazing pictures of the kind giants during this time.
You will return to the park headquarters and be given gorilla trekking certificates.
You will then embark on a two hour journey to the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will arrive in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in the Ruhija Sector of Bwindi.
After your early breakfast, you will have a packed lunch before being taken to the park headquarters, where Uganda Wildlife Authority representatives will give you a pre-trek briefing, just like they did the day before. Once more, you will be placed in a tracking group and given guides to accompany you as you seek for the mountain gorillas in the jungle. Once more, you will be permitted to spend up to an hour with the gorillas. You have ample opportunity to capture additional images and fully immerse yourself in the bizarre experience. You will return to the lodge following your second gorilla trekking adventure. As you get ready for the lengthy drive back to Kampala/Entebbe the following day, spend the afternoon unwinding at the resort.
