On our 5 Days Kidepo Valley National Park Safari, which is located in remote parts of the Karamoja region, you will encounter Africa’s most natural beauty. The largest hard of buffalo in East Africa, for instance, as well as other animals including bat-eared fox, striped hyena, aardwolf, ostrich, lion, and cheaters are among the park’s main draws. Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Drive from Kampala to Kitgum

After breakfast, our driver will pick you up at your Kampala hotel or place of residence in order to begin your tour of the most remote national park in Uganda. We will then drive you through the plain and secluded vegetation to the northern parts of the country, stopping for lunch in Gulu before continuing to Kitgum for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed towards the most magnificent and finest wilderness in Africa, passing through the isolated Acholi villages, the homesteads of the Karamojong people, and ultimately the valleys of Kidepo Valley National Park, which is ranked as the third best national park in Africa by CNN Travel. You will be able to view African Lions that may be sitting along the Narus valley or on the rocks at the entrance to Apoka park headquarters during our evening game drive into the vast Savannah grasslands of the Kidepo Valley National Park after you have checked in and had lunch. A wide variety of other animals, such as African buffaloes, giraffes, leopards, bush bucks, and elephants, can also be seen. After supper, you’ll head back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drive to the Hot Springs – Guided Nature Walk.

A packed lunch and an early breakfast await you as you head to the hot springs via the palm-lined Kidepo River for a game drive. Along the way, look for tortoises, ostriches, and leopards. We will go through the park on a guided nature walk after eating our packed lunch, then we’ll head back to the hotel to freshen up, unwind, and have some time to enjoy the night in the woods.

Day 4: Transfer to Gulu

After breakfast, make the transfer to Gulu. Before spending the night in Gulu, make a lunch stop in Kitgum. The largest town in the region, Gulu, recently emerged from the Lord’s Resistance Army-caused insurgency. Today, the town’s bustling streets and safety allow visitors to travel around freely and go shopping. Due to the abundance of affordable hotels and guest homes in the vicinity, our five-day safari in Kidepo National Park was rather intriguing.

Day 5: Return to Kampala – Departure.

After breakfast, depart early for Kampala, stopping along the way for a lunch break at Kabalega Diner. You will then be dropped out at your home or hotel, marking the conclusion of your journey.
