11 Days Uganda Wildlife Safari Tour

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe Airport.

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be received by our tour guide who will brief you on the 11 day tour and transfer you to a hotel already booked for you where you will check in, have dinner and spend the night.

Accommodation: Areba Hotel, KK Hotel.

Meals: (Dinner).

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary on the way to Murchison Falls National Park, have lunch, track for two hours, and then continue on to Murchison Falls. The white rhino can only be seen in this location in Uganda. One of Uganda’s most stunning national parks is Murchison Falls. The Nile, with its magnificent Murchison Falls, where the entire river is driven down a small valley and falls 60 meters, is one of the key draws. Anticipate to encounter lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, and occasionally leopards.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.

Take an early morning wildlife drive in this stunning national park, which runs from 07:45 to 12:45. Boat trip on the Victoria Nile in the afternoon, from 14:00 to 17:00, to the base of the falls. You may watch and photograph a wide variety of bird species from the boat, and you can hike to the top of the falls for 30 to 60 minutes afterward.

Day 4: Transfer to Fort Portal

Wake up early, have breakfast and get on the road to Fort Portal where you will arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, go on a tour of Fort Portal town and visit places including the Karuzika Palace of Tooro Kingdom. Check in at the lodge, have dinner and spend the night.

Day 5: Explore Fort Portal – Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Spend the day exploring the lovely town of Fort Portal after breakfast. After a long trip, unwind with a few afternoon activities such as tea tours, seeing the pigmies, exploring the caverns and waterfalls, or visiting the cultural and historical sites of the Bacwezi or Rwenzori foothills through the communities. Trek, then make your way to Kibale Forest. With thirteen different ape species, Kibale Forest is an amazing jungle. Chimpanzees, baboons, red, black, and white colobus, grey-cheeked mangabeys, and hoest monkeys are among them.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest.

Have fun tracking chimpanzees in Kibale Forest. If you’re interested in monkeys and birds and would like to go on another walk, we can go on a community walk in Bigodi where you can see cultural tribe activities like making banana beer, go on a coffee tour, see a traditional healer, see a group of women weaving buckets, and go on a forest walk where you can see butterflies, birds, snakes, and monkeys. Don’t forget to visit the Wetland Sanctuary. You can also go to the crater lakes and meet the locals.

Day 7: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Proceed to the National Park of Queen Elizabeth. We shall stop when we cross the equator on our route. Take a two-hour nighttime game drive. Watch crocodiles, buffalo, hippos, lions, and occasionally leopards.

Accommodation: Mweya Safari Lodge, Enganzi Game Lodge, Elephant Plains Lodge.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive – Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel.

One of the greatest locations in Uganda to view lions is Queen Elizabeth National Park. You should be prepared to witness elephants. Take a two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon after going on a game drive in the morning. The world’s biggest concentration of hippos can be found in the Kazinga Channel, one of Uganda’s top attractions.

Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

You will travel to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest today. We meet residents, see farms, plantations, hills, and experience village life as we travel through fascinating settlements and take in some stunning vistas of the Alps. Bwindi is a distinct forest with a wide variety of monkey species. One of the two locations in the world where mountain gorillas can be found is Bwindi. Depending on where we choose to stay in Bwindi, the driving time will vary.

Accommodation: Buhoma Lodge, Mahogany Springs, Rushaga Gorilla Camp.

Day 10: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.

Set out early in the morning with your ranger to look for the mountain gorillas, one of the most fascinating and endangered animals on the planet! One of our closest relatives will be your host for one to two hours. It takes roughly 30 minutes to complete the exercise, depending on how close we discover them. Transfer in the evening to Lake Bunyonyi and overnight stay on the island, an unforgettable experience.

Day 11: Return to Kampala – Departure.

After breakfast you will check out of the lodge and get on the road back to Kampala and proceed to the airport where you will catch up with your homebound flight.
