Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Entebbe Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our company representative who will brief you on the 4 day tour and transfer you to a hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Drop off at Entebbe International Airport for your domestic trip to Southwest Uganda in the morning after breakfast. (Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip) After leaving the airstrip, you will be driven for about an hour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the principal destination of the Fly-in Uganda Gorilla Safari and the home of the critically endangered Mountain Gorillas. After checking in, you will have a delectable lunch at the lodge. You will go on a guided nature walk in the forest in the afternoon after lunch, where you might spot monkeys and forest birds. After that, unwind at the lodge and get ready for your gorilla trekking the following day.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Community Walk

You will then be tasked with tracking a family of gorillas. Be ready to cover a significant distance on a narrow, muddy, and treacherous trail, occasionally with rain falling overhead when tracking gorillas. Meeting the gentle giants of Bwindi forest is definitely one of the world’s most exciting animal encounters. A trip with gorillas could take three to six hours, depending on how they move in their native habitat. You will spend no more than an hour with the gorillas after you find them. Following tracking, you could go on a neighbourhood stroll to get to know the people and learn about their way of life, including the Batwa and Pygmies.
