Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, travel for half a day to Fort Portal, which is situated beneath the Rwenzori Mountains and passes through the dense jungle and papyrus wetlands of the Nile Delta. Kibale National Park is reached at this point. An afternoon crater walk of Nyinambuga, a leisurely drive to Kibale, and a lunch stop at Gardens restaurant in Fort Portal.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking Kibale – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
An early breakfast in preparation for a chimpanzee walk in Kibale Forest National Park’s rainforests, which are known for having the highest concentration and variety of primates in East Africa. Chimpanzees and other primates, such as phoestes, red-colobus, blues, red-tailed, and grey-cheeked mangabeys, swinging through the dense jungle, as well as birds, butterflies, and other tiny insects, were sought after during the half-day search. Your tour will be educational, entertaining, and a great opportunity to see birds and primates up close thanks to the guide’s thorough explanations of not only primates but also all the forest’s flora and animals.
After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth for a sunset two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is worthwhile an opportunity to see Hippo, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also enables visitor chance to see spectacular and amazing bird life.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.
Visitors can see elephants, buffalo, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes, and a variety of birds during an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile. After lunch in Ishasha, continue on to the southern portion of Queen Elizabeth via Ishasha to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an amazing game safari where you can see uncommon wildlife, including tree-climbing lions. Proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Forest
Today is set out for gorilla trekking in the Bwindi jungles. You have your trekking jungle boots, rain jacket, and walking sticks ready for the UWA guides and rangers to brief you. Trekking with gorillas is unpredictable. This can be a strenuous walk, so it’s hard to predict how long it will take you. The duration of the gorilla tracking trip ranges from two to eight hours. The floor is constantly damp, so be prepared to trek a considerable distance in muddy and steep circumstances. After your gorilla walk in the afternoon, if time permits, you will go on a community foot safari to learn about the locals, their way of life, and some cultural acts.

Day 5: Bwindi Forest- Lake Bunyonyi Islands
You are going to drive to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale today, traversing the rolling hills of southwest Uganda en route to the more verdant and stunning islands of Lake Bunyonyi. relaxing and taking in the sights at the lodge in the evening.

Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi Islands
Wake up at your convince ready for a mid morning boat trip to the islands for a guided nature walk, sightseeing and cultural visit to the Batwa Pygmies community to explore their life style and birding along Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 7: Return to Kampala – Departure.
Start your day with breakfast in preparation for the lengthy trip back to Kampala, stopping along the way for lunch at a local hotel of your choosing and for pictures at Masaka’s Equator crossing line before heading back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport, which will arrive very late in the evening.
