Day 1: Arrival – Kigali International Airport.
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport, you will be received by our company representative who will brief you on the 7 day tour and transfer you to a hotel booked for you in Kigali.

Day 2 – 3: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
On your way to Nyungwe National Park, stop at the King’s Palace and Ethnographic Museum to explore the cultural centre of Butare. Hiking through the steep jungle is one way to look for endangered chimpanzees; long before you spot them, you can hear their pant-hoots echoing across the forest. Relax in the opulent hotel’s infinity pool after your climb while taking in views of the colobus and toucan monkeys perched in the treetops.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibuye.
Drive to the ‘beach city’ of Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu.

Day 5 – 6: Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience.
Gorilla trekking offers some of the most amazing wildlife experiences you will ever have. Participate in two incredible treks across Volcanoes National Park to interact with two families of gorillas. See huge silverbacks, mothers carrying tiny, wide-eyed infants, and juvenile gorillas climbing and enjoying fun.
