Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park.

After taking off from Kajjansi Airfield, you will arrive at Murchison Falls National Park, the largest and oldest national park in Uganda. Flying into one of Africa’s most popular tourist destinations, the aeroplane provides you with amazing views of this lovely Pearl of Africa. When you arrive, you’ll be driven to your lodge, where you’ll check in, enjoy dinner and spend the evening.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat Cruise.

Get up early in order to embark on a wildlife drive early in the morning before lions and leopards hide back in their hiding places. If fortune favours you, you may also spot animals grazing on the plains of the savannah. Take a two to three hour boat ride to Murchison Falls Base after lunch at your resort. As you proceed, you should see plenty of crocodiles and hippos in the water, as well as warthogs, buffaloes, antelopes, fish eagles, kingfishers, and cormorants along the banks.

Day 3: Nile Delta Boat Cruise – Afternoon Game Drive.

On the third day, you take another boat ride out on the water. This time, we’re going on a magnificent five-hour boat cruise through the Nile Delta that is sure to leave you speechless after yesterday’s exciting experience. Among the rare bird species we’ll see are African skimmer, shoebill stork, goliath heron, and African jacana. Along the way, we would see so much beautiful scenery, people collecting water from the riverbank, fishermen lowering their nets into Lake Albert, and of course, more wildlife. The ideal way to wrap up a journey is always with lunch.

Day 4: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Reach the summit of Murchison Falls on Day 4 for breathtaking views of the surrounding environment and the waterfalls. After spending some time here and grabbing a short lunch, proceed to Pakuba Airstrip to catch your domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip. When you arrive at 14:25 pm, your guide will be waiting to drive you to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Prepare yourself for an amazing gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on Day 5. Before you join an experienced park guide and a group of like-minded explorers, receive a briefing on safety, rules, and expectations. Explore the dense forest while looking for a specific gorilla family. This trip could take up to eight hours, depending on where they are, so bring snacks. Numerous additional animals, like as buffaloes, elephants, antelopes, chimps, and other species of monkeys, can be seen along the route. Once you’ve located them, observe their instinctive behaviours for an hour. Your guide will share interesting information and habits regarding these amazing species.

Day 6: Fly back to Entebbe International Airport

After breakfast on Day 6, finally bid farewell to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with full bellies. An amazing journey will come to a conclusion when your driver drops you off at Kihihi Airstrip so you can take a flight back to Entebbe International Airport.
