Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Tarangire National Park
The 6 Days Exploring the Best of Tanzania Tour will start on this day. After our transfer northward to Tarangire National Park, our company guide or representative will collect you up at the hotel or another agreed-upon location. You will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive in the national park, where you can expect to see wonderful wildlife like zebras, elephants, elands, warthogs, buffaloes, and numerous bird species. It is an unending tree savannah region home to the largest herds of African elephants.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
After breakfast in the morning, you will drive to the park to go on game drives that will allow you to see the best parts of the conservation area. You will drive past baobab trees and vast grasslands of the savannah and may spot antelopes of various species, elands, gazelles, leopards, lions, and African elephants. After lunch, you will drive back to the lodge to enjoy a delicious lunch and an afternoon drive where you can take in the stunning scenery and incredible birdlife of the park. Come back to the lodge to spend the night and eat dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park
We shall transport you to the enchanted world of boundless plains on this day. The annual wildebeest migration across the national park is its most famous feature. Driving through the savannah’s communities and limitless grasslands will allow you to take in the breathtakingly expansive scenery. The route to the destination, which takes around eight hours, passes via the Olduvai Gorge, the alleged foundation site of early human remains. You will eat lunch upon arrival and go on an afternoon game drive within the national park. You may anticipate seeing buffalo, elephants, gazelles, zebras, and wildebeests.

Day 4: Game Drive in Serengeti National Park – Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
After a leisurely breakfast in the early morning, we will head to the national park and descend to Seronera Valley via the game trail. In addition to a picnic lunch and a wildlife excursion in the afternoon when the sun sets, there’s an opportunity to observe early risers including lions, leopards, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, waterbucks, serval cats, genet, hyrax, jackals, cheetahs, and leopards. Beyond raptors, the national park is home to a variety of primates, including olive baboons and vervet monkeys.
You will travel through the savannah plains in the direction of the Ngorongoro Crater, which is among the most impressive places on the planet to visit. Unlike other craters, this one is home to a variety of wildlife. After arriving for a quick game drive, we will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Game Drives in Ngorongoro – Relaxation.
After a leisurely breakfast, we will head to the crater by 7:00 am to hunt for the big five and any other animals we may have missed the day before. We anticipate seeing buffalo, zebras, lions, leopards, and rhinos. We will return for lunch and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 6: Departure.
Wake up to a morning breakfast and then check out of the lodge and head to Arusha or Moshi to catch up with your homebound flight.
