Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Helicopter Flight to Volcanoes National Park
When you arrive, our representative will welcome you and provide you with a summary of the five-day journey. It is advised that you book flights that land in Kigali in the early afternoon. You will then be driven to the helicopter base where your private plane to Volcanoes National Park will be waiting for you. After arriving at the resort, you will relax and prepare for your gorilla tracking experience.
Accommodation: One and Only Gorillas Nest.
Meals: (Dinner).
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
You will be transferred to Volcanoes National Park after breakfast the day before you embark on your two to six-hour trek to observe Africa’s last remaining mountain gorillas in their native habitat. After getting briefed about gorillas, enjoy the rest of the day lounging at the lodge.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking – Helicopter Flight to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Another day in the rainforest, you will transfer to the park headquarters of Volcanoes National Park for your second gorilla trek after you will return to the lodge for relaxation and refreshment before taking your short flight from Volcanoes National Park to Nyungwe Forest National Park.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience.
After a filling breakfast, you’ll head to Cyamudongo, which shares borders with Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo and is home to one of Africa’s largest lowland rainforests. You will go chimpanzee trekking here. After your chimp trekking adventure, you will relax and take your time to enjoy your day at the resort.

Day 5: Fly to Kigali – Departure
After morning breakfast you will fly from the lodge back to Kigali City. Upon arrival, you will be taken on a short city tour before connecting with your outbound flight.
