Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our driver/guide will pick you up at your hotel or apartment in Kampala or Entebbe to begin your 4 days double gorilla tracking tour in Bwindi. After giving you an overview of the five-day safari, the guide will drive you for nine hours to the southwest region of the nation. You will pause at the equator crossing to take pictures and conduct a little experiment that establishes the equator’s existence there. After starting the adventure, you will stop again for lunch at the Agip Motel in Mbarara before continuing on to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is home to mountain gorillas. You will arrive at the lodge in the evening in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you will leave the resort with a packed lunch to head to the park headquarters for a pre-trek briefing with Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) officials. A guide will be assigned to you, and together you will explore the bush in pursuit of the mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking usually lasts between one and eight hours, depending on how the gorillas travel. You will have up to an hour to take pictures and observe the gorillas as they go about their daily lives when you have located them. A certain amount of physical fitness is necessary for the gorilla tracking exercise, which can be very difficult. After that, you will return to the park’s headquarters to receive a gorilla tracking certificate.
You will then return to the lodge and spend the evening relaxing as you contemplate on the gorilla trekking experience as well as prepare for the following day’s second gorilla trekking experience. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Second Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
You have another chance to spend time with the mountain gorillas in the dense forests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on the second day of gorilla trekking. The driver/guide will take you to the park headquarters for the pre-trek briefing, just like they did the day before, following your early breakfast. To help you find the mountain gorillas, a tracking group and guides will be assigned to you. Take the greatest pictures and ask the knowledgeable guides as many questions as you can during this second gorilla tracking opportunity. You will have your packed lunch in the jungle. In the evening you will take an evening walk through the Batwa community, this will give you chance to interact with these people, learn how they live and also watch them perform their traditional dances and songs. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Transfer Back to Kampala / Entebbe
The driver will drive you back to Kampala or Entebbe after your early morning breakfast, which will take nine hours. For lunch and to learn more about Ankole culture, you will stop at the Igongo Cultural Centre. You will also stop briefly at the equator crossing to purchase souvenirs and snap further pictures. After that, you will be taken to your home in Entebbe or Kampala.
