Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: Arrival – Bujumbura.
After your arrival in Bujumbura, you will be welcomed by a Gorilla Adventure Tours safari guide, who will transfer you to a hotel already booked for you in Bujumbura for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Rusizi National Park – Snakes Park – Gishora Drum Sanctuary.
After your early morning break fast, you will be transferred to Rusizi National Park where you will see many birds. You will also visit the Snakes Park, La Pierre Livingstone & Stanley and the Independence hero mausoleum. Later transfer to Gitega and visit the Gishora drum sanctuary.
Day 3: Gitega National Museum – Karera Waterfalls – Source of the Nile.
After breakfast, we will visit the Gitega National Museum with its collection of artifacts and antiquities from Burundi’s past and Mushasha – Catholic schools and the Cathedral. The trip continues to Rutana to see the amazing Karera waterfalls and later on the way back to Bujumbura, the source of Nile in Rutovu.
Day 4: Departure.
After visiting this beautiful and unique country you will be transferred back to the airport in time for your international flight out.
