Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Around 6 a.m, our tour guide will pick you up from a prearranged location. Although the trip to the park takes roughly six hours, the breathtaking scenery along the way is truly breathtaking. Along the journey, you’ll pause to snap pictures at the equator. Prepare to encounter breathtaking physical sceneries, valleys, and terrain peppered with tea plantations and grazing Ankole cattle with long horns as you approach and depart Mbarara. You will have lunch in Mbarara town before continuing on to the park and lodging. You will be given a tour of Crater Lake Katwe and its salt mining operations in the evening.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel.
After waking up very early to have tea or coffee, you will travel on an early morning game drive around the Kazinga Channel on the Mweya Peninsula. The three-hour safari will take you along various routes where you can see jackals, buffaloes, warthogs, forest hogs, Uganda Kobs, elephants, lions, and the elusive leopard. After a late breakfast and some downtime by the pool, you will be brought back to the lodge to await lunch. You may get the chance to see a variety of bird species, including kingfishers and pelicans, as well as elephants, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, and other aquatic wildlife, during the two-hour afternoon launch cruise at the Kazinga Channel.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge – Departure.
After breakfast when you wake up, you’ll go to the Kyambura Gorge. Numerous additional primates, including baboons and chimpanzees, can be found living in the Kyambura Gorge’s underground forest. Numerous plant, tree, and bird species can be found in the forest. The guide will take you back for lunch after your excursion to the Kyambura Gorge while you check out of the lodge. After that, you’ll set off to return to Kampala, stopping along the way to see other primates and creatures in the Maramagambo Forest. You should plan to get in Kampala late at night in time for your hotel or departure aircraft.
