Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Arrival – Kigali International Airport

When you land at Rwanda’s Kigali International Airport, one of our tour guides will meet you and drive you to your overnight lodging.

Meals: (Dinner).

Day 2: Kigali City Tour – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Our tour guide will pick you up in the morning and take you to Kigali for a city tour, where you will see the local markets, art and craft stores, and the Genocide Memorial grounds. After that, you will drive through the stunning countryside and into Volcanoes National Park, which is home to mountain gorillas.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Departure

After an early breakfast, you will arrive at the park headquarters with your packed lunch in time to receive a briefing on the proper behaviour when among the gorillas. This will be followed by going into the forest to look for the gorillas, which might take two to six hours, depending on how the gorillas roam about the rainforest. Spend no more than an hour meeting and spending time with the gorillas. For your departing flight, ascend for a transfer to Kigali.
