Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Departure.
Enjoy breakfast as early as 6:30 a.m., then head to the national park headquarters for a briefing before setting off on foot. You will begin your 8:00 a.m. walk into the jungle under the guidance of an armed guide, following designated pathways to look for gorillas. Meeting the gorillas typically takes two to six hours. It is allowed for visitors to spend an hour with the mountain gorillas. Known as a “magical hour,” you will witness gorillas, who share 98% of human DNA, going about their daily lives and create unforgettable experiences.
It is recommended that tourists follow the gorilla trekking rules, which include being quiet and not approaching too closely, when they are among the primates. Trekkers are allowed to take pictures with the gorillas, but they must not use flash photography.
After having lunch at the lodge or hotel, return and make your way back to Kigali. The timing of your transfer to the airport depends depend on when your aircraft departs.
