Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
A representative from our company will come to pick you up after a filling breakfast at your Kampala hotel and give you an outline of the two-day Lake Mburo tour. After that, you will go along the Kampala-Masaka-Mbarara road to Lake Mburo National Park; this could take three to four hours in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle. Along the trip, you’ll make a stop at Mpambire Drum Makers to watch the locals make drums. After that, you will go to Lake Mburo National Park and arrive at a resort in time for lunch and relaxation. You will enjoy an exciting boat or launch trip around Lake Mburo in the afternoon, where you may see a number of hippos, crocodiles, water birds, waterbucks, and topis. You will need two to three hours to do this water sport, after which you will return to the resort for a night of relaxation, dining, and fun.

Once you’ve completed your two to three hour wildlife drive, return to the resort for lunch, leisure, and check-out so you may depart and return to Kampala.
