Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – Transfer to Virunga National Park.

When you arrive, our corporate representative will meet you and make arrangements for your transfer to Virunga National Park. Depending on when you arrive, you will participate in a Kigali City Tour that provides breathtaking views of the Genocide Memorial, which is the final resting place for thousands of people who died in Rwanda’s 1994 genocide against the Tutsi population. Proceed to Bukima, where you will arrive in time for dinner and spend the night there, after seeing the neighbouring market.

Accommodation: Bukima Tented Camp.

Meals: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking – Departure.

After an early breakfast, we’ll head to the mountain gorilla park headquarters. Look for the various ape species as you stroll about the park. An expert guide will conduct you through the exercise, which can take two or more hours, depending on how far the gorilla families have migrated. going back to pick up your guide, who will transport you to Kigali so you may catch your international flight home.
