Day 1: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Our driver will pick you from the hotel in the morning and give you a rundown of the route as you drive to Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival at the park headquarters, you will receive a pre-trek briefing before being paired with the appropriate mountain gorilla troop for tracking. It might take anywhere from 30 minutes to 8 hours to go gorilla trekking, depending on where the apes are located. Following the monkeys’ allocation, you will have an hour to spend with them and observe their daily activities, such as eating, nursing, playing, and so forth. You are also permitted to shoot flash-free photos during this enjoyable period.

You will leave the forest after an hour and go to Kigali in time for your departure flight.
